Dog physiotherapy

Veterinary Physiotherapy for small animals can be extremely beneficial to your pet’s quality of life and is essential in the performance of competitive or working dogs. Orthopaedic veterinary medicine is becoming more common with physiotherapy now being considered routine as part of the rehabilitation process. ACPAT members are fully qualified Chartered Physiotherapists (MCSPs) who have also trained in Physiotherapy and rehabilitation for animals and have specialist knowledge in anatomy and biomechanics, physiology and pathology. They use the detailed assessment to tailor treatments to each animal condition and the stage of the problem.

Consultation fees are covered by the majority of insurance companies for ACPAT registered Veterinary Physiotherapists.
